Washington played Landon Collins as a safety early in the season and he struggled to hold up in coverage. After a long offseason of speculation that he might be best at linebacker, the coaching staff made the change to put Collins in more of a hybrid role similar to that of Su’a Cravens’ role a few years ago. After that change, Collins and Washington’s defense started to turn their rough start around. Collins is at his best closer to the line of scrimmage, and this move allowed the team to have Collins, Curl and McCain all on the field. Collins was consistently making plays around the line of scrimmage and had some big impact plays. It will be interesting to see what they do with him this offseason as his cap hit is higher than they would like and they have Jamin Davis and Cole Holcomb that both play similar roles.

Where would you have ranked Collins? Who do you think will be revealed at #18?
