As we celebrate Coast Guard Day, we're thrilled that Tom Huntley has officially joined REGENT as Director of Government Relations.

Tom recently retired from Active Duty service as a Commander in the USCG after a 21-year career. Throughout his career, he ran surf rescue operations and has over 4,000 flight hours in the MH-60 Jayhawk helicopter as a search and rescue instructor pilot and flight examiner.

Tom conducted counter-narcotics missions, responded to Hurricane Katrina, and conducted recovery operations following the 2010 Deepwater Horizon oil spill.

Following his operations tours, Tom oversaw the Coast Guard’s $1.5 billion annual shipbuilding budget and served on the House of Representatives Committee on Appropriations as a senior staff member.

Tom will be heading back to the Hill where he'll once again be working with leaders across the House & Senate as well as executive branch agencies. He'll work closely with Tim Rhatigan and Paul Lwin to build strong relationships with political and defense leaders, including our local Congressional Delegation as we expand in Rhode Island.

Tom's dedication to service continues to guide him. He tells us he’s ready to represent REGENT in Washington and help prepare #seagliders for launch, both from commercial and defense perspectives.
