Being apart of the 1stphorm family for the last 2 years now has been so much more than getting deals on supplements & clothing. It has impacted the way I live my everyday life - way beyond just my physical health.

The culture that they embed on their athletes without even knowing it, is so powerful. It has changed the I way look at things - to social media & branding, to fitness, to business, to my overall daily mindset. 
#1stphorm has encouraged me to be more real with you all, share my truth, and be more vulnerable. Something I did not know how to do AT ALL before. 
About 5 years ago I did an interview with a local newspaper. The girl who interviewed me said "wow you are much different in person than how I perceived you on Instagram. I thought you would be self absorbed (among other things)". I took offense to it at first, until she said how kind, humble and approachable I was. I then felt a bit better but it also left me with a conflicting feeling. Is that how others perceive me on social media too? 
I remember thinking "ya people just need to meet me and get to know me, that's all" 
Well I was wrong. 
Why couldn't I show that vulnerable, relatable Amber through social media? Obviously people are not going to know me inside and out via insta but I can at least share more than just selfies with emojis as captions. 
I'm still guilty of showing 'the better pics of me'. But I hope through at least my captions and videos you get to know the more "real" Amber. My goal is to continually get better at this. But I thank 1stphorm for helping me start somewhere.
