⚠️"If you value the journey more than the goal, you can enjoy the moment anytime you want" ⚠️
Last season all I could think about was needing to win, and how I was going to get to the "next step". So much so that I didn't take the time to appreciate and really enjoy what I had in front of me. 
A lot of self-reflection happened during my time "out of the seat". I realized why I started racing in the first place, why I choose this as a career path... because I love driving racecars and enjoy being behind the wheel more than anything. I told myself when the opportunity came again to be back on the track, that I wasn't going to get caught up in everything else, but just enjoy being in the car. 
Since I started in gokarts, till this day... My dad gives me the same advice before every race. And that is to "go have fun". This weekend, I listened to his advice as I did when I was a 10 year old girl. And that's how I ended up in victory lane. (Well that and the help of a fast race car, great spotter and crew😜). Point is... Opportunities can be few and far between. So when you have one, make the most of it. Be present. Appreciate it. Enjoy it. 💙
Life really is about the journey, not the destination. So enjoy the ride. #motivatonmonday
