Here is a memory from fellow classmate and goalie Claire Miller Caetano: “September 2008 Nixon and I booked a last minute trip to Germany and the Czech Republic.  She was in between treatments and I was in between jobs, so it was perfect.  After we booked our flights we couldn’t figure out why there were no decent hotels in Munich...turns out Oktoberfest is actually in September!  Grateful to have my accidental Oktoberfest memories with Nixy!” 🇩🇪 .
