What can’t lagat1500 do?! The 44-year-old 5x Olympian set a new American Masters record in just his second marathon! His time of 2:12:10 bests the previous record by 10 seconds.

Was determined to finish strong  gcmarathon today. Although I didn't come away with the goal I set for myself,  I got a 5 minute PB and the new American Master's Record. Just missed my family record. My brother Nathan has 2:12:08, my brother William has 2:12:09 and today I was 2:12:10.
I think I'm starting to get this marathon thing! #stillarookie #runningfamily
Thank you to everyone for all the support and kind words. I was so happy to share this experience with my son!
