Meet alumnae Lauren Eller and Eve Hui!
✨💙💛
Lauren transferred as a sophomore and joined the team in 2009. She competed beam and floor for the Aggies before graduating with a degree in neurobiology, physiology, and behavior in 2012.

Eve joined the team during her freshman year in 2006. She was a part of the club gymnastics team here on campus and was invited by head coach, John Lavallee to try out for the ICA team. Eve competed beam for the Ags and graduated in 2010 with a degree in Exercise Biology.

After graduating from UC Davis, they both went on to attend graduate school at the California School of Podiatric Medicine at Samuel Merritt University. Both are practicing foot and ankle surgery in private practices with Lauren in Portland, OR and Eve in Albuquerque, NM.

Lauren’s alumna advice: “So much of what you experience as a student athlete can be applied to life post college. From learning the benefits of teamwork and supporting others to establishing work ethic, time management and self care. I found that going through my medical training was very similar to navigating life as a student athlete, and I am grateful for my experience at UCD that helped me to develop skills for success. It was also through my athletic injuries that lead me into my specific medical specialty. And now I enjoy treating sports injuries and traumas of the foot and ankle. My advice to current and future Aggies would be to enjoy the ride, take advantage of all the unique experiences UCD has to offer, and find what makes you happy.”

Eve’s alumna advice: “You can achieve anything you set your mind to and work hard for. College with your teammates and friends is seriously one of the best experiences. It was truly amazing for me and I miss it! Live in the moment, and enjoy and cherish every second!”
