This week’s #MajorMonday features redshirt freshman Kaya Madden! “I am a sociology major with a Law and Society emphasis! I chose this major because I really want to have a career in Criminal Law and help try and fix our Criminal Justice System. My senior year of high school I visited San Quentin State Prison where I got a first hand look at how corrupt our prison systems are. Ever since then I have wanted to go to law school and become a criminal lawyer. My favorite class this far has been EXT 020, which is an intro to forensic science class. It is a very interactive class where you learn all about how forensic science is used when examining crime scenes! This class was really enjoyable for me because we got to learn about so many different cases and were able to act like detectives when looking at the crime scenes. After graduation, I plan to travel the world and live in London for some time before heading to New York for law school!” #ThisIsWhoWeAre #GoAgs
