Installation of the Women’s Table, designed by Maya Lin ’81 ‘86 M.A.

The Women’s Table was commissioned in 1989 by President Benno Schmidt ’63 ’66 JD for the 20th anniversary of the coeducation of Yale College.

In 2019-20, Yale will celebrate the 50th anniversary of coeducation in Yale College and the 150th anniversary of women students at the university.
