🌟 LA ESPERANZA BAKERY 🌟 

Established in 2006, la_esperanzabakery is a Mexican bakery located in Caldwell.  From pan dulce to donuts  to cakes,  you can treat yourself to  authentic Mexican baked goods .  Let’s not forget about the tamales —  they are  ahh-mazing, and you can order them by the dozen.

Concha  means “shell” in Spanish, and it’s a traditional Mexican pastry.  It consists of two parts:  sweetened bread roll and a crunchy topping.  I don’t recall if I ever had a concha prior to moving to Boise (south FLA has a huge Caribbean influence , and the pastries tend to be a bit different). I remember seeing my first concha (bright pink colored), and how delicious my first bite was.
