So many powerful quotes. This quote particularly moves me because I find it to be true.  I’ve met some incredible people from all walks of life who have a love for service. 
Today is MLK Day, and it’s also a day to encourage acts of service. If you are looking for a way to participate in MLK Day of Service,  boisestateuniversity MLK Legacy Committee has planned an entire week of events.  Today from 8:30am to 12:30pm,  BSU is hosting a Day of Greatness March and Rally. 
The MLK Day of Greatness begins with poster making in the Jordan Ballroom. Free materials and a limited number of commemorative Boise State MLK Celebration T-shirts will be available.

The march to the steps of the Capitol begins between 10:30 and 10:45 (depending on weather). Marchers will progress from the Student Union, north on Capitol Blvd. to the Capitol Steps. The legacy of Dr. King will be celebrated during a rally featuring student speakers. At the conclusion of the rally at noon, attendees are invited inside the Capitol Rotunda to join the community in the State of Idaho’s recognition of Human Rights Day.

You can also visit the Idaho Anne Frank Memorial where there’s an MLK quote.  There’s also the Idaho Black History Museum to visit and explore.
