IDAHO POTATO MUSEUM 
Last week I was in SE Idaho for a recruitment event. I also stayed to provide a practice Law School Admissions Test (LSAT) for students at ISU.  To kill some time, I went to the Idaho Potato Museum. I’ve been meaning to go since moving here. 
Located in Blackfoot in a historical train depot (built in 1912), the museum is filled with fun facts.  If you haven’t gathered from my page yet, I genuinely enjoy learning. Museums are my thing because I can take my time to roam & digest all the info. 
From why potatoes are in Idaho to how potatoes influenced the invention of the TV to a mini theater will clips about Idaho potatoes ... it’s really interesting. Plus, I learned about how  Marilyn Monroe famously ended up in an Idaho potato sack. But what I particularly enjoyed was the woman behind the counter. Born & raised Idahoan (Blackfoot) who completely entertained my adventure-seeking side by leading me to all the brochures and booklets my heart desired. So friendly. 
Even if you’re slightly curious about potato history, the growing and harvesting process, nutrition, trivia and educational potato facts, this museum is definitely one to cross off your #bucketlist. Your souvenirs are placed in an actual potato sack!
