Today I visited the folks at vr1arcade to try virtual arcade, and it was AWESOME! vr1arcade is the FIRST VR arcade in Idaho. Brendan (the owner) wanted to bring a new family-friendly activity that everyone from 7 years old to 99 years old can do. He shared with me a story that solidified his decision to bring this to Idaho: he saw a family of 12 stand around the station and cheer on the players. The family members switched turns, and it was a thrill to see them bonding over games. Talya (talyasmythe), Katie (kaitlin.blake ), and Savannah (savannah.koga) helped me as I did this for the first time! I won't lie - it's so real that I was like "whoa." I first did a Spider-Man game, then one where I fought monsters, and then ended it traveling to Rome, Italy via Google Earth. vr1arcade also has weekly specials too! TOMORROW is for couples: buy one, get one free. They have pizza Thursday's with idahopizzacompany 🍕.
