Happy Monday, Boise! How was your weekend? Mine was pretty good. I rested and now feel rejuvenated for this upcoming week. You know what helped with that? Trying matcha for the first time. I've been a fan of wannamatchatea and their eye-catching Instagram content. With my new health kick, I decided to try my own matcha 🍵 drink for the first time. For those who don't know, matcha is finely ground powder and packed with so much: caffeine, antioxidants, and L-theanine. If you're a beginner like me, you can start with their Matcha Horchata: sweet with the cinnamon syrup and honey mixed with the matcha. I also tried their matcha cookies baked by glutenfreegalaxy (which, by the way, the owner Hilary walked in while I was sitting there, and ordered her usual matcha drink - gotta love Boise for that!). Ashley (the owner) is super friendly and willing  to teach you about matcha. You can even watch her prepare the drink - pretty cool to watch!
