At his Ten Evenings lecture in November, clintsmithiii generously shared a few poems from his forthcoming collection. Now, we are very proud to announce Poets Aloud with Clint Smith: Wednesday, March 29 at the Carnegie Library Lecture Hall.

Clint Smith’s compelling new collection, Above Ground, traverses the vast emotional terrain of fatherhood, exploring how becoming a parent has recalibrated his sense of the world. Above Ground wrestles with how we hold wonder and despair in the same hands, how we carry intimate moments of joy and a collective sense of mourning in the same body.
