Give a big hello to 1/c Dillon Carmen! Coming up from Egg Harbor Township, NJ, Carmen is serving as the 2023 Summer Battalion Chief of Staff.

He's a Management Major, the Captain of the Hockey Team, and the Treasurer of the Powerlifting Club. His favorite U.S. Coast Guard memory (so far) was being underway with CGC Vigorous this summer.

"I've definitely developed my ability to keep a big picture in mind. It helps give me something to work towards when I feel like I can't give anymore of myself."
