Meet Joseph Chavez from Long Beach, California, who completed MMI's Service Academy Program (SAP) and just reported to the U.S. Coast Guard Academy for Swab Summer. 

His biggest piece of advice for incoming freshmen is to make connections because college gives you the opportunity to meet people you wouldn't be able to meet otherwise.
