#militarymonday goes out to MMI staffer and decorated #vietnamveteran COL John Gibler, USA (Ret) who today recounted his experience as a Battalion Commander in the thick of combat during the #tetoffensive in 1968. Wearing his original jungle fatigues, he told cadets about lessons learned fighting the enemy (VC & NVA) near his base at Binh Chanh, the importance of collection plans, trusting gut feelings, and help from M42 "dusters."
