From El Palacio De Los Jugos to Flanigans to Books and Books, uminteractive MFA alumna Melissa Gutierrez (westofchester) is known for her uniquely #Miami prints! 🖼 Melissa recently spoke to WLRN where she shared her #illustration journey of capturing her hometown and childhood memories. 🌴 "It almost feels like the work that I'm making is serving as like a communal yearbook” she said.

When Melissa isn’t drawing nostalgic scenes of #SouthFlorida, she works as a Senior #UX Designer at Adobe in New York.
