Today is #InternationalStudentDay and we’re shining a light on Amalia! 💫

Originally from Quito, Ecuador, 🇪🇨 Amalia is majoring in #PublicRelations and Psychology! She’s an anchor on unimiamitv, the #PR Director of umiamiprssa, and an ambassador for the Dean’s Student Circle.

When asked about why she loves being a ‘Cane, Amalia said: “My favorite thing about being an #internationalstudent at univmiami of is being able to teach people about Ecuador. Often people are very surprised and I love representing my country and showing people it’s beauty.” 🧡

Did you know 3,900+ #internationalstudents from 120+ countries study at #umiami! 🗺 If you’re an international student, comment below where you’re from and what you’re studying! ⬇️
