SoC students Jessica  Carr and Allison Lustbader register to vote at the end of Wednesday's Special Topics Class "PR and Politics: The 2016 Presidential Election."
The class will delve into how the candidates are getting their messages out to prospective #voters. The '16 #election will be the first presidential election in which the students are old enough to vote. Carr and Lustbader were among the half dozen students who registered to #vote for the first time in their lives. 
Because #Florida is a swing state with 29 electoral votes, all major parties are interested in getting #college #students to cast their #votes in Florida, even if their hometowns are in other states.
