My yoga mat. 🌟 #repost 

It’s provided a place for me to grow. To learn about myself. To sit with my thoughts. To witness my body in a unique way. The journey has been profound and has brought the most amazing people into my life. 

My perspective surrounding the practice has evolved over the last 18 years. Like many people, I originally signed up for group classes with the intention of bettering my physical being. As soon as I realized that this ‘thing’ called ‘yoga’ had tremendous mental and spiritual benefits -  as well as physical - I was hooked for life! 

Sometime in 2009, I decided to dive into learning more about yoga traditions and how to share the practice with others. I’m forever grateful for all of the yoga teacher trainings and beyond amazing teachers that I’ve been fortunate to experience.

It’s been exactly two years since I had a full schedule of public yoga classes. The pandemic caused a lot of us to reflect on how we spend our time and energy. It’s been a big decision for me to return to leading group yoga classes and commit to a weekly schedule. I’m thrilled to share that starting March 2, 2022 - 1 Week from today - that I’ll be back at it with my friends at Vibe Yoga in Henderson, NV. For now, I’ll be leading Power Vinyasa at 8:15-9:15am on Wednesdays. Expect a sprinkle of aromatherapy and some joy from Indigo, the yoga dog. 

Time on my mat is always special for me. I hope to help you find that same sense of wonder and self-awareness on your yoga mat.
