Did you know 🧐that Aloe Vera plants are easy to grow and to propagate? These ‘pups’ were recently pulled from the base of the mother plant - yup, all of them are from one potted aloe plant - and there’s even more babies in the pot!

Aloe Vera may be one of the most popular succulent to grow at home, and for great reasons. It’s easy to grow and extremely useful to have on hand. To grow these beautiful plants, you just need to give them the environment they love. 🌞
When growing outdoors, indirect sunlight is best. Indoor plants prefer bright light, and can grow abundantly when near a window or not. 💧
These medicinal plants do not require much water either. We water our aloes once a week during the hot summer months and only every other month the rest of the year. 👨🏽‍🌾
To nurture your aloe plant to the time when it produces its own babies (pups) is quite simple. All you need are the above conditions and time! The mother plant for all of the pups in this photo has been happily growing in a pot on our front porch for 14years and produces 20-30 babies annually! 🤗
To transplant, simple hold near the base of the baby plant and pull gently. You’ll end up with baby plant in hand and just enough roots to transplant easily. Once you get the little ones into new pots, give them a small amount of water and let them be. Easy gardening! 👩‍🌾
While we use the aloe juice regularly for burns and other skin care uses, what we enjoy about these easy to grow succulents the most is the bountiful gifts we have once a year when we pull the pups and have dozens of tiny plants to give away 💝
