I am so blessed to (finally) say I am pain and discomfort free. When I had my first #psoriasis flare up in November, the pain and discomfort was something I thought I’d just have to deal with forever. I could pray for less painful days and those days came. BUT these last couple of weeks have brought me COMPLETE comfort. After trying many different medications, creams and UV treatment, it was hard to believe this day would come.

My skin has cute little white specs all over due to the psoriasis but I’ll take them. I’ll embrace them and welcome them because I’d trade anything to get rid of the pain.

What I believe helped me the most is sun and UV treatment. I also work to reduce inflammation in my body everyday with supplementation of turmeric, greens powder and eating more fruits and veggies. Staying hydrated and moisturizing my skin seems to help too! I also started doing yoga in quarantine and I believe that could aid in reducing stress too.

I know that the future can hold more flares up but for now, I’ma enjoy the pain free life while I can 😌❤️

Edited to add: the last 3 photos are pictures of the worst of my painful flare ups. That lasted from November until recent.
