Create an Action Plan!

Don't believe it when you read stories about women who have it all - and how it was easy for them to get there.

The older I get (and the more inspiring women I meet) the more apparent it becomes that every single person struggles.  Some struggles are visible and others are not. Some struggles break us and others make us stronger.

If you're ready to stand up stronger, you need an action plan for life.

Identify the action steps that you could take to move farther in the direction of your hopes and dreams. Decide what your day would look like if you did take those steps. Your action plan could be anything from creating financial security for your family to taking on a challenge in the community to scheduling in more time to work in the garden.

Your goals can be as wildly ambitious or as simple and achievable as you want it to be. The great news is this: once you have clarity of purpose, your mission will shift and change over time, and that's ok. As you succeed at one goal, you can look forward to the next.

That sense of purpose should inform the choices you make each day.

If it doesn't, you'll simply be an "I guess 'me, too'" kind of person, with a "I guess 'me, too'" kind of life.
