Our members start their journey in our community by figuring out their 'passion and purpose'!

What drives you and keeps you motivated when things get hard?

Starting with clarity on your 'why' or what brings you a sense of purpose will make every step that follows easier.

As Simon Sinek shares in his book, "Start With Why," knowing exactly why you're taking action every day will result in more confidence and courage, more stable relationships, financial gain, and a greater sense of purpose every day. Your answer to this question of 'why' may be about your career ambitions, your relationships, or any other aspect of your life.

Next, ask yourself what holds meaning for you. Who or what matters to you the most in life? What job, activity, or interaction has excited you in the past or makes you smile just thinking about it?

What makes you angry or frustrated? Sometimes that can help us find a sense of purpose too - maybe working to make positive change is what really lights you up!

Whether I'm working with large groups or individuals on this theme of purpose or 'your why,' we always start with clarifying your values.

Even if you can't figure out 'what' you want to do, you likely have already aligned yourself with some core values - whether you realize it or not.

Consider what your personal core values are. Knowing the values that you hold dear can help you see what truly matters to you, and help you cross off life choices that sound important, but don't bring you any joy.

A life lived on purpose can take many forms - and only you can determine what that looks like for you.
