Americans can finally tell their daughters that they truly can grow up to be anything they want to if they work hard enough.

In 2021, a woman will step into the White House, not as a wife, but as Vice-President... 

Kamala is a Black and Indian American woman whose parents grew up under British Colonialism and were considered ‘less-than’. 

I hope that today, no matter your political persuasion, you will take a moment to honor the MANY, like rubybridgesofficial who have fought to get to this moment in time where those who are unhappy today are mostly in disagreement with policies, and are not questioning the inalienable right of a woman of color to stand up as a leader. 

To all those who made this moment possible... and all the women and girls who will see their future in her and run for office, step up as leaders and do the work to make our world a more equitable and good place to live for all!! 🎉🎉🎉
