When we first moved to Atlanta last December, I gave up sports shooting to pursue a career in the corporate world. Long story short, nothing worked out. Nothing felt right. Every job I thought I ever wanted, I was miserable in. When _brycefrance asked me to come out and shoot a private QB session with quincyavery and qbcoachmcevoy, I felt so out of my element. I was rusty (and maybe a little out of practice) but I knew that my soul missed it. It was that day I realized that I had to give up the corporate life and chase what I loved again—what made me feel alive and exhilarated. At first, there was so much uneasiness. Changing careers is terrifying, but I knew I had to take that leap of faith. vann.thornton was my rock. He supported and encouraged me every step of the way. Fast forward to now, I finally feel back at home on the sidelines again. I can’t get enough of the action and electricity that sports shooting offer! So this post is a big thank you from the bottom of my heart to anyone and everyone who helped me get back to where I belong and thrive. Particularly Vann for the support, and Bryce and the guys over at qb_takeover for the support and opportunity. I can’t thank any of you enough for making me feel at home again in this crazy competitive industry.
