#MeetaTarHeel Virginia, a senior from White Lakes, NC, couldn't wait to tell us about her majors. "I chose to major in Sociology and American Studies because I am passionate about studying the history of school desegregation in terms of its history and its implications. I am interested in how cultural artifacts reflect history and how events in American history impact research. While American Studies is more historical, Sociology is research-based. I have thoroughly enjoyed both of my majors. I am so glad that I chose them!" #socisciUNC #targram
