#MeetaTarHeel For Paul, "Majoring in Chinese was a gut decision made freshmen year. Four hours of class a week couldn’t keep me from getting excited about drilling pronunciation and writing characters, so I figured it made sense to pursue it. As my journey continued, I realized my curiosity for the language stemmed from a number of misperceptions and confusions about what China was becoming and what that meant for the rest of the world. Carolina gave me the chance to challenge those assumptions through language, research, and travel." #humanitiesUNC #targram
