Visited the Elephant Sanctuary in Phuket, Thailand today. .

These elephants were rescued from horrible mistreatment by their previous owners. It broke my heart to hear their stories. How people can be do cruel, I can’t comprehend. .
I’m grateful they can live out their years being loved and cared for now. .

It was an honor to be in their company as they trusted us enough to allow us to pet their trunks and feed them. .

They were so delicate while taking pineapple, bananas and watermelon slices from our hands. .

It was so special. .
