Today we want to stress the importance of mental health, as well as suicide awareness. Your mental health is key to your overall happiness, well being, and physical health.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

The suicide rate for women has increased by 50% since the year 2000. Not only are suicide rates on the rise, but women are also 3 times more likely to attempt suicide than men. Luckily, there are “warrior” women, like Emily, who are determined to spread mental health awareness. The semicolon tattoo has become a popular symbol of suicide awareness, and encourages others to know their sentence is not over and they have more to write.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
