Happy Friday! We wanted to participate in #FridayIntroductions - so some of our new followers can get to know us! I'm Amy, Pink Stork's Founder/CEO - & this is my family! I'm a mom FIRST, but I'm also a military wife & the woman behind Pink Stork. Pink Stork is the dream I never knew I had! I experienced Hyperemesis Gravidarum with my first three pregnancies - vomiting 30+ times per day, several hospital trips, extreme weight loss, & with my first pregnancy, I was even told once that I had 24 hours to live. All of this, while my husband Thomas was deployed several times & I was raising our other young kids. Any woman with HG can tell you that it is EXCRUCIATING. Any woman with HG can also tell you - there isn't a cure. You're constantly given band aid solutions, but none of my doctors were really getting to the root of the problem. I knew I wanted a big family - & I wasn't going to let this stop me. So when I got pregnant with my 4th child - I was determined to make a change. I did tons of research - found some solutions, made lifestyle changes, &... it was a completely different pregnancy than my first 3! I knew I wasn't the only woman on Earth who had been suffering with HG - so I knew I wanted to help them, & Pink Stork was born. My 5th pregnancy mimicked the 4th - & Pink Stork's product line has been expanding with our family!
