That’s a wrap on the first of three sections on these rooftop murals in #Southend #Charlotte. This section is an homage to the Carolina #gold rush. The first gold ever found by colonizers in North America was found in NC. The motif is based on one of the original liberty dollars that were first minted at what is now the themintmuseum on Randolph road. Two more sections to go! .
