And since we pretty much eat hummus every day in our house, I decided to put vitalproteins Collagen Peptides in there! And it turned out perfectly! I used the unflavored collagen peptides so that it wouldn’t add any flavor to my flavorful beet hummus, but I admit that I am curious what a desert hummus could taste like with chocolate peptides… 🤔 

Here’s the recipe, but feel free to add any favorite ingredient instead of beets (try roasted red pepper, spinach, or avocado!)Ingredients:
-2 cans garbanzo beans, drained
-1/3c olive oil
-2 medium beets, roasted, skins removed
-1/3c tahini
-juice of 1 lemon
-1 tsp salt
-couple springs of chopped fresh rosemary (optional)
-4 scoops Vital Proteins Original Collagen Peptides

Method:
Blend everything up! I use a blender, but a food processor would be even easier. Taste and add extra salt, lemon, or herbs if desired. Store in an airtight container in the fridge. Enjoy!
