I signed with a track agent when I first went pro out of college. You know the type: older white male, completely out of touch with modern marketing… Honestly I didn’t have much of a choice back then because I was absolutely clueless about the whole track world. I don’t regret that decision, but I’m super grateful that my boyfriend encouraged me to represent myself a couple years later.
When I signed with lululemon this year I consulted with an AWESOME agent who has the same values and vision that I do (hiii pwesley22 👋🏻). Other than that, I’ve been running my own small business for the last few years and it has honestly been SO much fun!
I’ve learned so much about myself, like how and when to challenge myself and how and when to ask for help.
I’ve negotiated deals with tiy_products vitalproteins hyperice beam and whoop- all brands I am proud to work with and who value me as a partner.
And yes, Jim, I’m a lot to manage! 💁🏼‍♀️
