Over the last 2 weeks the Bowerman Track Club raised a total of $23k for the Equal Justice Initiative through our Until We All Win fundraising campaign! That is so amazing!!! Huge thank you to everyone who participated and donated any amount you could. The money is going to a great organization that is fighting for the basic human rights of the most vulnerable people in our society.
I donated a Team USA singlet that went to the highest bidder last Thursday, raising over $2k. ❤️
In a final push, I pledged to donated $202 in response to my new 800m PR of 2:02 and promised to send an autograph card and a jar of my Steeple Squigs Granola to anyone who matches my $202 donation. 10 of you matched my donation, which brought in another $2k.
I cannot say how much your generosity means to me. It feels so amazing to have such generous people following along with me who are excited to get in this fight for racial justice. It’s about more than donating money, for sure, but eji_org is doing incredible work and I’m proud we can support them.
