U.S. Women’s National Volleyball Team member chiaka11 agreed to take over my IG feed for a day to amplify a Black woman’s voice so that my (presumably mostly white) followers can hear from someone who looks different and has a different perspective from what you all might be used to. I wanted Chiaka to be able share what she is passionate about and tell her story and she did a beautiful job of that. I got to speak to Chiaka at the end of the day and ask her some questions. 🎤
