In May 2022, after 3 years of waiting, we finally made our bucket list trip happen. It was originally planned for 2020, and we know how that turned out…

Two re-bookings later, we were on our way to the magic of Scotland. To date, this may be a place we want to return to most…

Here are experiences we HIGHLY recommend: 

▪️The #IsleofSkye —a world of rugged coastline and dramatic mountains! We totalled 4 nights here (2 in South / 2 in North). And while it’s possible to take a day trip here, there’s just SO much to experience.

〰️Pic 1: Hike the Old Mann of Stor
〰️Pic 2 & 3: Explore & (for good luck!) dip your toes in the 7 Sacred Fairy Pools.
〰️Pic 4 Sligachan Bridge 

▪️Stop at ‘Harry Potter Train’, or better yet, pre-book a ticket to ride on the Jacobite Steam Train, aka, the Hogwarts Express 🚂.

▪️Do we have any Outlander fans? You may recognize pic 8! This was a super fun (short) roadside stop to stretch our legs. We won’t blast the location here—DM and we’re happy to share with fellow LNT’ers.
