The inaugural World Qualification Event took place in Naseby, New Zealand 🇳🇿 in January 2019. This presented the final opportunity for Member Associations to qualify for the World Championships. 
China 🇨🇳 and Finland 🇫🇮 women secured the last two places at the LGT World Women’s Curling Championship 2019 while Korea 🇰🇷 and Netherlands 🇳🇱 men took the final two places at the Pioneer Hi-Bred World Men’s Curling Championship 2019. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
