Sig Delt was founded in 1917 at Cornell University by seven Jewish women seeking to establish a sorority that would respect the individuality of its members and empower young women to meet their full potential. They proudly partner with three philanthropies: Prevent Child Abuse America, Jewish Women International, and The Sigma Delta Tau Foundation. Their colors are café au lait and old blue, their flower is a golden tea rose, and their symbol is a torch.
