Hacía frío esa noche en Pretoria. Mucho frío. Tal vez eso evito que me desmayara al final de este relato. Lo había dejado todo, el in crescendo en la narración producto del momento tenso que se estaba viviendo con la posible eliminación de EEUU hizo que acentuara cada palabra, que empujara la voz reclamando el gol que por fin llegó al 91’. Alguien hizo este video montaje con mi relato en fdpradio que guardo como uno de los más lindos de mi carrera. marcelobalboa17 y bora_milutinovic_of dos históricos fueron mis comentaristas y los tres terminamos emocionados al ver luego en el estadio casi vacío al grupo de fanáticos de Estados Unidos festejar hasta entrada la noche al grito de USA, USA como si se hubiera ganado el mundial. Ese gol significó mucho más que el simple pase a la siguiente ronda. Hoy hace 10 años
It was cold that night in Pretoria, very cold. Perhaps that saved me from fainting at the end of this goal call because I had given my all. In radio you go at a different speed and the potential elimination of the usmnt had me push my voice to the limit, each play and every passing minute pushed me to my limits and then minute 91 happened.
