This warm weather makes me so happy 🌻 Congrats to all the graduates this season!! 🎓 This can be a rough time for those who think they fell off track with school - [a message to my friends and myself] if that’s you, I’m here to tell you that everything happens for a reason. If you’re not graduating at the same time as your friends, it’s OKAY. Society puts a bit of pressure on us to do things a certain way and on a certain time frame. But actually, we have all the time in the world to get things done. Do things at your own pace. It’s also never too late to go back to school too - one semester, I sat next to an older lady (maybe 60-70years old) who went back to school to study a new profession. That was very inspiring to me ❤️ As long as you never give, I promise you’ll get where you wanna be. It’s not about the destination, it’s about the journey. ☀️

A little about myself - I have been taking a couple classes a year (and it feels like it’s taking forever) but I’m 23 years old and I finally have enough credits to get my associates. I’m continuing to go to community college to get pre-reqs done to study nutrition and dietetics. I took some time off at a point because I was very very very happy with my job in NC so I wanted to focus on that and move up in the company. I realized it was time for some change when I got back to Chicago and so I went back to school. Sometimes I do feel behind but I remind myself of that message above. But I know that I had so much experience in the fitness, supplement and bodybuilding community while I took time off of school. If I didn’t take that time off, I wouldn’t be as passionate about pursuing my degree as a I am now. 😌🌻
