## Caption

The Sand Martin is very sociable in its nesting habits; as many as a hundred pairs will nest close together. 
The  nest is a litter of straw and feathers in a chamber at the end of a 4-foot burrow. With so many roommates, it often becomes a hotbed of parasites. *Looks around in relief to empty apartment* 😅
