## Caption

Get to know the electric blue gecko! In the wild they’re only found in one specific location — the foothills of a mountain in eastern Tanzania. Unfortunately, the species is critically endangered. Luckily, the BronxZoo has successfully hatched a few eggs. These geckos lay clutches of two eggs “glued” together and “glued” to a surface while they develop. Adult males grow up to have a striking blue color, while females are green or copper. .
