Treehopper | Cousin to the cicada, treehoppers are found on every continent except for Antarctica. These insects have sharp beaks that can pierce plant stems to feed on their sap. Some species of treehopper have become codependent with ants. Since there’s usually sap left over after enjoying a meal, ants will come in and finish what these thorny bugs could not.
