Africa | This peaceful sea cow is known as the dugong. Since their diets consist mostly of seagrass, these underwater mammals eat the whole plant, including the roots. Don’t worry, though - they shake off any sand before eating! Dugongs have poor eyesight, so they have to use their excellent sense of smell or their strong tactile senses to locate plants to eat.
