Africa | This cutie is the banded mongoose. These striped mammals live in groups of up to 40 individuals, which is rare for this typically solitary species. In these squads, there’s not much of a hierarchy, but don’t even mention a rival group. These tight-knit societies do NOT like each other and things can get aggressive.
