## Caption

The horn-like scales you see on the tip of the rhinoceros viper’s snout make this snake look highly intimidating. The nocturnal reptile has a deadly hemotoxic venom which can be transferred through a lethal bite. When these vipers aren’t on the defensive, though, they fold their fangs into the roof of their mouth, making way to admire their beautiful patterns and hypnotic eyes.
