The Siberian Tiger, also known as the Amur tiger, inhabits the Sikhote Alin mountain region in Russia. In a recent population census, there were approximately 550 Siberian tigers left in the wild. Zoos are protecting these tigers with the Species Survival Plan. #ProjectCAT along with several other conservation efforts are working to save these big cats!
